Sourdough Workshop November
This is a half day workshop where you will learn everything you need to know about starter, sourdough, discard and baking. This is a life changing skill to have. Since I have been making my own bread my whole house dynamic has changed. I no longer buy pasta, bread, pastry and so many other things but it also has allowed me to step into a place where I not only make food from scratch but everything my family needs - with ease. This is the perfect workshop for anyone who wants to be more centred around the home, wants to up-level their cooking, save money and just learn the art of this incredible food - Sourdough!
Now this is for those who are serious, it requires buying and bringing items along with you so that you can go home FULLY stocked and prepared to start making sourdough.
I have made this workshop super affordable by allowing you to gather the items you need.
To bake at home the absolute essentials you will need are:
A large bowl
Kitchen Scales
A bread oven ( you can use a cast iron camping oven )
A scoring knife ( you can also just use a really sharp knife )
Tea towels
To uplevel you can also include in your stock:
A dough scraper
A flour duster
A banneton ( you can simply use a bowl and tea towel if you dont buy a banneton )
You MUST bring to the workshop:
Kitchen Scales
A large bowl ( a stainless silver bowl is great )
A tea towel
Notepad and pen
You go home with:
An active starter
